Nigerian President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR was in Gambia few hours ago to show support for the flag off of the incumbent president Adama Barrow’s 2nd term bid.
Our correspodent in Gambia gathered that While in Banjul, Gambia, the number one citizen of Nigeria attended the inauguration of President Adama Barrow for a second term in office with a high crew of delegates from Nigeria.

Mr President asserted deeply on the value of the relationship with The Gambia which he said had stood firmly with the Gambian people when they faced a political crisis five years ago till date and was pleased to see how far the country has come since then, our correspodent reports.
Buhari further stated that “as West Africans, our destinies are tied together. Nigeria will continue to offer all the necessary support within the framework of ECOWAS to ensure that member states adhere to cherished democratic ideals”

Let me reiterate that Nigeria places a premium on democratic governance, the rule of law and promotion of fundamental human rights in the West African sub-region”
Congratulations once again to President Barrow on the commencement of his second term say NIGERIAN PRESIDENT BUHARI.
It was indeed a solidarity visit by Nigeria to Adama Barrow to continue in his second term bid as Gambin PRESIDENT. The election is slated to hold soon as preparations are in top gear by the Electoral umpires to give the country the best as they have promised.
