The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has appointed Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, a prominent politician from Kano, as its new Director General.
The announcement was made by TSG Leader Honourable James Faleke during a recent gathering in Abuja, where he emphasized that the decision was unanimous. According to Hon Faleke, Yakasai’s appointment aims to uphold the group’s credibility and enhance its efforts in promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Honourable Faleke highlighted that his selection was based on his competence and professionalism, which have enabled him to excel in the political arena.
“Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai is a medical consultant. Our expectations of him are very high because he is among the few individuals capable of delivering on this mandate from now until the 2027 election,” Hon Faleke stated.
He further urged TSG members to offer Yakasai their full support in achieving the organization’s objectives.
“May God continue to guide our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and bless Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
