The swearing-in ceremony of his Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma and that of the Deputy Governor Lady Chinyere Ekomaru was a successful one.
9News correspondent reports that dignitaries that cuts across political partylines, traditional councils, religious and international groups were in attendance.
In taking the boat of office, DGov Lady Ekomaru assured the state of her selfless services Inline with the rules of government to work with Governor Hope Uzodinma to improve the state.
Her Excellency, Lady Ekomaru expressed happiness on the creme of personalities and the thunderous number of Imolites that graced the event while assuring Imo women of quality representation in the shared prosperity administration.
Imolites in there numbers trooped out to show maximum solidarity to the second term Inauguration of Governor Uzodinma’s government.
It was a colorful event showered with rendition of accolades, prayers, parade, presentations and congratulations to the Governor and his Deputy.
Imolites are hopefully counting as the government hits the ground running with expected policies and project development across the zones and rural communities in the state.
Recall that Governor Hope Uzodinma is taken his second term bid on the promise of handing over power to Owerri zone as embedded into law. The State Charter of Equity was resurfaced by Governor Uzodinma’s administration to bring developments and making Imo the economical hub of the South East region.
Fmr President Olusegun Obasanjo, Fmr governor Rochas Okorocha, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Comrade Adams Ashiomole, All Progressive Party national Chairman Alhaji Ganduje, past and present political stalwarts from all works of life were present.
Meanwhile His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma has assured Ndi Imo that his administration will make sure the economical projects the shared prosperity administration have started will be completed.
Some projects were commissioned by the national delegation of dignitaries that graced the Inauguration and swearing in held in Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri Monday.
