It was indeed Renewed Hope for Bayelsans as their women, Men and youth gathered in Yeneguoa Bayelsa State to welcome the Becon of Hope for Nigeria Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Sen. Kashim Shettima. The Massive Crowd who did not move an inch under the Light showers cheered on, promising to repeat what the did in 2019 by voting out PDP and voting fully for APC.
While speaking Asiwaju Tinubu Promised the people of Bayelsa that when voted into power, he will properly fix their link roads which had been washed away by flood, isolating Bayelsa from the rest of the country. He promised to put an end to the flood just like he did with the Atlantic Ocean in Lagos creating the EKO Atlantic City “ this state should be the New Orleans of Nigeria with all the Tourism potentials and benefit of the 13 percent oil derivation. We will fix your Federal roads, create Sea Ports, clean your water and create employment through technology Hub and IT start ups. You will feel Government Presence even more. Hope is here”
“You have tasted PDP Government for all these years and have all these problems, why not try APC and see the difference which you can be proud of! These were the words of Asiwaju.
In the same Vien the Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon Gbajamiamiala told Bayelsans that if Asiwaju can turn the fortune of Lagos state; one which is as small as Bayelsa in land size and had flooding issues, he will even do more for Bayelsa if the vote for Tinubu. He said “if it is true that Tinubu fought for Democracy, 13% Derivation and built the Lagos you see today then he is a man we can trust and rely on.
APC National women Leader reminded Nigerian women and Bayelsa women that the deal for Nigerian women is to give Asiwaju 40million votes. She noted that When he becomes President, our voices will be heard and our needs will be met. We will be given many opportunities at leadership as well as financial empowerment at all levels. Our best and only choice is Asiwaju. In her words she told Bayelsa women “ No go follow man/ candidate wey no dey give shishi ohhh, hunger go kill you oh. Vote for a man who keeps promises and has mainstreamed women in Lagos including his Beautiful Wife Sen Oluremi Tinubu, and would do it again”
