Sen. Oluremi Tinubu Nigerian First Lady sue for peace as she donates Sallah gifts to 30 Mosques in FCT.
It was a rousing welcome for the first Lady of Nigeria Sen. Oluremi Tinubu as Dr. Betta Edu the ebullient National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) represented her to donate and distributes Sallah gifts to Muslim faithfuls ahead of the 2023 Salah celebration.
Speaking Senator Oluremi Tinubu said that the benevolent act was born out of love for all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, ethnicity and religion.
She calls for peace, unity and sober reflection at a time like this when Nigeria is experiencing a Renewed Hope transformation. She urges all Muslims to remember this new administration in their prayers for effective delivery of good governance.
While donating the food items Dr. Betta reiterated that the food items were to help the poorest of the poor among the Muslims faithful who may not have much to eat on Sallah day. She also noted that the first lady of Nigeria Sen. Oluremi Tinubu has promised to keep making this act of benevolent a continuous one to different churches during Easter and Christmas, to different Mosques during Sallah and also to the Traditional Rulers through out her tenure as Nigerian First Lady.
The ebullient National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu also noted that this present administration of President Bola Tinubu GCFR had gone into social contract with Nigerians during his campaign and they are poised to keep every single promise they made to Nigerians. Dr. Edu noted among campaign promises of President Bola Tinubu GCFR was that the economy will be better, students will be given student Loans and gender mainstreaming for women.
She thanked President Tinubu for giving women 40% in his recent recent appointments of Special Advisers.
The kind guesture of Her Excellency Sen. Oluremi Tinubu witnessed good positive responses and appreciations from Chairmen and Imam of the Mosque visited. Amongst the responses recorded were the Chairman of Area 10 Ju’mat Mosque who applauded the kind gesture and noted that such visitations had never been heard or seen in the history of Nigeria except during this administration of President Bola Tinubu GCFR. While thanking the First Lady of Nigeria Sen. Oluremi Tinubu for the Sallah donations, he equally pray for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to be successful.
In another response from the Chairman and Chief Imam of the Central Mosque Abuja, they expressed extreme delight on how they have been remembered by the present administration, that they are optimistic that President Tinubu’s administration will be the best. They extended their prayers for a successful tenure of Mr. President and subsequently promised to keep praying for his administration for unity, progress, peace & tranquility of Nigeria.
