Renowned Human Rights activist and Pan-Africanist, Comrade Shehu Sani has taken a swipe at former ally and immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai following his defection to the Social Democratic Party, SDP, from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Sani, who recently rejoined the ruling party from the embattled Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in a Facebook post on Monday lamented that El-Rufai had callously evicted them from the forest.
“Our Lord has evicted him from his home and sent him to the wilderness. Our Lord’s 5G judgment”, he added.
El-Rufai on Monday announced his defection in a statement, expressing his dissatisfaction with the leadership style of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He claimed that after voicing his concerns in public and privately about the party’s capricious trajectory in recent years, he has decided to look for another political platform to pursue progressive values.
