The Ikot Abia Community of Okon Clan located in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has been rocked by a shocking and tragic incident, following the arrest of a pastor identified as Enoch, the Founder of Omega World Global Ministries on allegations of killing his wife and burying her in a shallow grave in a bid to boost his church growth.
Reports suggest that Pastor Enoch may have been influenced by a native doctor, who purportedly recommended the ritual as a way to gain spiritual powers and expand his congregation.
In response, the youths of Okon Clan have risen in outrage and promptly handed over the matter to the Nigerian Police for thorough Investigation and justice.
The accused reportedly led security operatives to the site of the shallow grave, where he buried his wife’s body.
This saddening case has sparked widespread shock, anger, and calls for justice across the region.
