Shocking: Kidnappers killed victim after collecting ransom in Nasarawa community

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have killed one Anas Zubairu, after collecting ransom from the victim’s family for his freedom.

Anas was kidnapped on Friday August 23, 2024 around Project Quarters area, Lafia metropolis, Nasarawa State.

The deceased’s elder brother, Muhammad Zubairu, confirmed on Sunday September 1, 2024 in a Facebook post.

According to him, Anas died in the hands of his abductor(s).

Reacting to the incident, Junaid Abdulrashid Umar, described the spate of kidnappings in the state as worrisome and called on the relevant authorities to provide lasting solution to the menace.
