WOMAN KILLS HUSBAND AFTER HE RECEIVES CALL FROM FEMALE FRIEND

The Ondo state police command has arrested a woman identified as Queen Beatrice for allegedly killing her husband, Emmanuel Ikujuni, for receiving a call from a female friend at their home at Omotosho in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The Nation reports that the suspect got angry that her husband picked a call from a female friend in her presence and got into a fight with him. In the process, she used a plank to hit the deceased who slumped and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by the doctors.

A sister to the deceased, Imoleayo Ikujuni, narrated that the wife challenged her late brother for calling another lady.

“During the fight, she hit him with a plank and he died instantly. They have arrested her. The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, in Akure for further investigation”.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, said an investigation into the matter has commenced.
