The first heat of tragidy has befell the latest GOVERNOR of Anambra State NIGERIA, Professor Chukwuma Suludo few days after he called for the cancellation of IPOB sit-at-home order across the state.
The attack on his local government area headquaters is a strong signal to warm the governor to allow the sit-at-home order hold, mostly by tomorrow Friday when MNK will appear in court.
Aguata Local Government Area headquarters, Anambra State, is currently being attacked by arsonists, believed to be those widely referred to as “unknown gunmen” in the South-East.
Recall that the newly sworn-in Governor of the State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, hails from Aguata.
The attack began Thursday afternoon and the council headquarters was set on fire by the attackers, who are believed to be the same people that attacked the market in the council, Eke Ekwulobia.
When contacted, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu said that “following the report of the fire incident at the local government headquarters, the command has deployed men to the area and the situation has been brought under control.”
Ikenga, who is the spokesman of Anambra State Police Command, also said that men of the Fire Service have been contacted and they are already combating the inferno.
However our sources revealed that it is in connection with the speculations that IPOB’s Friday’s sit-at-home order will be cancelled by the state governor whereby sending some hot signals to him to allow the sit at home order hold tomorrow, friday 8-04-2022 pending the outcome of Mazi Nnamdi’s freedom from incarceration.
