State Assembly Bye-Election: Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu Generally Endorsed As Ngor Okpala Council Of Traditional Rulers Pour Blessings On Him

As the Imo State House of Assembly Bye Election Date Draws Closer, the Council of Traditional Rulers in Ngor Okpala LGA have endorsed the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu as one who is suitable of representing their people and bringing home development to the people.

The Traditional Rulers evoked the gods of the land with libation and went further to shower Royal Blessings upon Okenze Blyden at the palace of the Chairman of Ngor Okpala Council of traditional rulers, HRH Eze Fred Nwachukwu (Ogboro 1 of Ngor)

This happened upon the arrival of the Members of APC Campaign train to pay homage to the Mornachs thereby making his aspirations known to them.

While receiving Amajirionwu and his entourage to his palace, HRH Eze Fred Nwachukwu described Blyden as a Worthy Son of Ngor Okpala Who has always identified with the Traditional institution in Ngor Okpala and assured that the Council of Ndi Eze in Ngor Okpala will Contribute in their quota to ensure he emerges victorious during the Election as they have seen him to be Credible Candidate amongst others in the contest.

Okenze Blyden while appreciating the Royal fathers extolled their virtues as traditional rulers that are upright and sincere towards the desires of the people and won’t for anything renege on that, he thereafter praised them for rising up to the occasion of making sure their people do not make the same mistake they did in 2019 by voting PDP and her candidate who absconded from the house.

He added that seeing him worthy of the endorsement by the monarchs shows that he has a responsibility to shoulder as the fate of Ngor Okpala people lies on him and can’t afford to disappoint them. He therefore pledged to work towards bringing uncommon transformation in the aspect of infrastructural and human capita development through quality representation and assured that the people will never regret voting for him.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Attorney Mathew Nwaoguala, Barr Soronnadi Njoku who is a former Commissioner for Justice Imo State and Chief Val Okere(Amadi-Oha Ngor Okpala) in their Separate remarks while addressing the Monarchs emphasized on the need to send Blyden in a time like this to represent Ngor Okpala at the State House of Assembly. They however expressed regrets over the embarrassment the incompetency of PDP and its Mr Tochi Okereke has Caused the good people of Ngor Okpala and Stressed on the need for the Monarchs to Support Blyden.

In their own Separate Words, HRH Eze Odohirinwa, (Atia 1 of Alatia) and HRH Eze George Nwosu affirmed that Blyden Amajirionwu is a household name both in the political space of Ngor Okpala and beyond. They however accepted him and expressed optimism over his victory Come February 26th 2022.

Thereafter, Five traditional rulers representing the five Court Areas in Ngor Okpala Stepped out and Showered Royal Blessings on Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu and prayed for his victory.

Leaders who joined the entourage are: Prof B G Nworgu, Commissioner for Science and Technology Imo State, Dr Ethelbert Okere, Director General Imo State Orientation agency, Hon Chimezie Nweke, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Uzodinma on Project Monitoring, Hon Obinna Egu, Former Member Imo State House of Assembly, Ngor Okpala State Constituency.

Others are, Chief Bona Nwoke, Hon Chidi Eke, DG Campaign Council,Hon George Onwukwe, Deputy DG Campaign Council, Hon Stanley Maduwuba, Youth Mobilizer Campaign Council, Hon Jude Ukaegbu, APC Chairman Ngor Okpala LGA and Hon Chike Onyeakazi, APC Secretary Ngor Okpala LGA amongst many others.
