Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has laid his beloved parents to rest in his hometown of Okwuzi community, located in Ogba/Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The funeral rites began with the burial of his mother on Friday, followed by burial of his father on Saturday.
Nwabali’s father passed away in November 2024 at the age of 72, while his mother died on January 1st, 2025, at the age of 63.
The event a celebration for Nwabali, who has endured the heart breaking loss of both parents -his mother and father – in recent months.
Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo was in attendance at the burial ceremony.
