The court of appeal sitting in kaduna state in appeal no:
EPT/KT/HR/04/2023 in respect of the case in rt hon ahmed chindo and pdp vs Apc and hon sani aliyu this afternoon upheld the appeal filed by samuel ihensekhien on behalf of pdp in respect of the interlocutory decision of allowing new witnesses, new documents and others in an election suit reply filed by apc and herein allowed the appeal and struck out the new witness and all additional documents of apc and rt hon sani aliyu in respect of forgery allegations against rt hon ahmed chindo and pdp. As it stands now, a further new precedent on an election tribunal disallowing further additional witness and documents in an election tribunal has been set.
The appeal arose from ruling of Justice O. Ogunfurowa of the katsina state national assembly tribunal.
