Nigerian media personality and entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa, has announced the birth of her first child at the age of 40, describing the experience as the happiest moment of her life.
The media star made the announcement in a heartfelt post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
“I’m a mommy… This is the happiest I’ve ever been. My precious daughter, the love I never know existed, my heart in another human being, my love. I have seen the goodness of God in my life, I have seen God move and I no longer just hear of it, I see I. It ended in praise, my miracle is here.” Makinwa wrote.
This comes weeks after Makinwa revealed she was expecting.
She revealed her daughter names as Yakira Eliana, Olakitan, Iyanoluwa, Ikeoluwa, Adunola, describing the child as her “purpose” and “evidence”.
“My purpose, my reason, my evidence. Thank you for choosing me a Mother. My heart overflows with so much gratitude. God heard, God answered. Every single detail, down to your fingers and toes oh he heard my prayers” she added.
Introducing her child to the world, the proud mother declared: “Meet my miracle, Yakira Eliana -Precious, Beloved – of great worth, My God has answered”.
The announcement has since sparked widespread celebration, with fans friends, and fellow celebrities flooding several media with congratulatory messages, hailing Makinwa’s entry into motherhood as a beautiful new chapter.
