The Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, has again inspected the ongoing Abuja-Kaduna Road project to ascertain the level of progress and and the quality of construction works being executed.
The inspection aligns with the Ministry of Works resolve to ensure that all federal road projects are completed on schedule, in strict conformity with approved specifications, and with full accountability for public resources.
Engineer Umahi was accompanied by the Senior Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North Central), Dr. Abiodun Essiet, and her colleague, Barrister Chioma Nweze. Also present were Directors from the Ministry of Works and the Site Engineer, Engr. Chukwuma who briefed the team on milestones achieved and ongoing activities.

During the visit, the Minister interacted with Engineers and contractors on site, inspected critical sections of the road, and reviewed construction materials and methods.
He emphasized that the Federal Government, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will not compromise on quality, safety, or durability in the execution of strategic infrastructure projects.
Umahi reaffirmed that the Abuja-Kaduna Road remains priority project due to its importance to national mobility, security, and economic growth, assuring Nigerians of the government’s commitment to its successful and timely completion.
