The students arm of Ifeanyi Ubah support groups known as Sen. Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah Students Support Group (SDPIUSSG) on Monday the 29th day of December 2020 praised the distinguished senator representing Anambra South in the 9th National Assembly Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah for leading the Anambra Progressives In donating a state of art hospital to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
Speaking at the launching of hospital, National coordinator of the group Hon. Amobi Okonkwo thanked the leader of Anambra progressives for choosing a project that will benefit students. He said the project will be of benefit to unizik students for their undergraduate and post graduate studies. Hon. Amobi Okonkwo reaffirmed the dedication of his group in championing all the affairs of the distinguished senator of the Federal republic.
Addressing some journalists after the event, the National director of contact and mobilization for the students support group Comr. IGWE Ogbonnaya (OGB) hailed the senator for thinking about students welfare, he narrated how the senator previously installed solar lights for students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Uli campus. In his words, Senator Ubah is the most student friendly politician in Anambra state. His projects and programs have targeted more on students and youths. He promised unalloyed support of Students to Senator Ubah in his political journey.
The students group pleaded with the university management to judiciously use the facilities for students welfare.
