According to the established tradition of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the State Party Chairman of Imo APC, Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD, formally introduced the nominated candidates for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 10th Assembly of Imo State House of Assembly.
The presentation of Speaker Chike Olemgbe and Deputy Speaker Amara Iwuanyanwu was made to the Governor of Imo State, Dist. Sen Hope Uzodinma for acknowledgement.
Governor Uzodinma who is the foremost leader of the state welcomed the members of the state 10th Assembly and charged them with enormous responsibility to proper legislation to improve Imo state.
It is important to note that the selection of Olemgbe and Iwuanyanwu followed a rigorous voting process conducted by the members of the house, leading to their successful emergence as reported by 9News Nigeria Owerri.
