The National Executive Council of the All Progressive Congress – APC in its yesterday meeting in Abuja has taken far reaching decisions to serve as rule of engagement for all elective positions which members intends to take part.
Beside dismissing the Ad-hoc delegate list compiled the Mai Mala Buni’s defunct CECPC, the National Executive Council adopted Indirect Primaries for selection of candidates at all elective positions.
NEC also decided to give nomination form and Expression of Interest from free to female aspirants and physically challenged contestants while it will go for N2,000,000 for House of Assembly. House of Representatives – N10,000,000.
Senate – N20,000,000.
Governorship – N50,000,000.
Presidential – N100,000,000.
50% discount shall be observed at the purchase of Nomination/Expression of Interest form for Youths running under the party platform (i.e those from 40 years and below).
As part of the yesterday resolutions of APC National Executive Council meeting President Muhammadu Buhari and others stepped aside, as they transmitted powers to National Working Committee Of The APC, To Make Decisions For the party for a period of 90 Days (which covers the presidential primaries).
And it was also decided that APC constitution only recognises serving governors as party leaders” and gubernatorial candidate where there is no governor
