Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Imo state Council few moments ago held her 2021 summit at rockview hotel Owerri and gave honourary award to some distinguished personalities among which is EVANGELIST BETHRAN UZODINMA, the CEO FRATELO Properties Limited.
While Presenting the award, the National PRESIDENT, NUJ, CHIEF (DEACON) CHRIS ISIGUZO told the recipient that the award was not ordinary but speaks volume of his recognized and legitimate efforts in the service of humanity and love for the press.
NUJ PRESIDENT charged the honouree Bethran Uzodinma to keep up the good work and to protect the superior content of the award.
9News Nigeria reports that the prestigious distinguished leadership award was a little way to recognize and honour a few individuals and corporate bodies who have shown exemplary leadership qualities both in their private and public life for others to emulate.
Meanwhile the criteria of for the award was recommendation by the special panel set up by NUJ for carefully identifying the deserving individuals and corporate bodies.
The recommendation of the panel was ratified by the council before the nomination and conferment of the award.
Imo state NUJ council Chairman, Chief Chris Akaraonye had earlier charged the recipients for more work and reiterates that the one day NUJ Media summit served as a platform for the assemblage of the Who-is-Who in Imo state and Nigeria at large, for the purpose of cross ventilation of ideas to the realization of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT in NIGERIA.
Chief Davis Ihemtuge, Chiarman and CEO of Ihem-Davis printing press who stood in for the Chiarman of the occasion, Professor Francis Eze,Vice CHANCELLOR Federal University of technology FUTO advised media practitioners to be upright in the discharge of their duties.

Also Fomer NUJ Chairman and Fomer National trustee of NUJ, Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke asked the media practitioners to apply developmental Journalism into action and to go beyond the level of news reportage but to dig deep into developmental Journalism to jettison False news and Fake news.
In his response, Evangelist Bethran Uzodinma promised to support NUJ in any little measure to make the union stronger and enjoyable.
Recall that BETHRAN UZODINMA is a philanthropist of notable quality and his benevolence and care to the less previleged amongst us cannot be overemphasized.

The summit featured respected gentleman of the press, Government functionaries, private business owners and the public.
