The candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the Anambra State Governorship election, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, has revealed what will be happen if the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, insists that the Nov 6, 2021 election won’t hold.
IPOB had threatened that no election would hold in the entire South-East zone (Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia states) till it achieved its agitation for secession from the Nigerian state.
The Senator, who represents Anambra South in the upper legislative chamber, said that there would be troubled if the IPOB insists election won’t hold in the state.
Ubah disclosed this during an interview with BBC Pidgin on Monday.
According to Ubah, who spoke about the negative impact of the Mondays sit-at-home order also stated that the South-East politicians are working to resolve the case of the detained IPOB leader who is facing terrorism-related charged before Justice Binta Nyako, and whose case has been adjourned to October 21, 2021 for continued hearing.
