A detailed statistics conducted within Imo state have projected the All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial candidate, Hope Uzodinma as would-be winner of the November Governorship Election against other political party candidates.

This evaluation was based on the tremendous acceptability of Governor Uzodinma’s second term bid by several political actors , political players, non governmental organizations, traditional rulers, artisans, cooperative bodies and Community followership across the three senatorial zones of Imo state as conducted by 9News Nigeria Owerri.

The attraction his administration has brought to Imo state through the few signature projects seen manifest, mostly on the three senatorial economical routes to and fro Imo state is a commendable feat to talk on.

Imo civil servants have in their numbers continued to speak good of Uzodinma’s administrative prowess and his developmental upgrades seen manifest in the secretariats. The infrastructures are open to the confirmation of our readers.

It was his administration that brought the New face of the state secretariat complex, availability of staff buses, constant payment of salaries and improve on workers welfare as gathered.

The construction of Imo international convention center IICC is a great addition to his acceptability by Imolites. A convention edifice that would have destroyed lives but was demolished and a new version of it still ongoing.

The dredging of OGUTA lake to connect to the national grid is a remarkable footprint of his administration if such project can be completed in his time. At completion and Flag-Off of marine operations, Imo will record the first sea port under Uzodinma’s administration and business will spring up both in Imo and other neighbouring states.

The Imo state council of traditional rulers are always offering good prayers and libations for his re-election bid mostly by the adoption of Imo state Charter of Equity which was passed into law by the 9th Assembly.

However, collapse of opposition parties to All Progressives Congress APC party cannot be overemphasize. Leaders from various political camps and their followership are aligning to Uzodinma on daily basis even as the Guber Election draws nearer.

The unity established in All Progressives Congress APC family is yielding an unassailable support to Uzodinma’s second term bid. On this therefore, the party leadership under Hon Macdonald Ebere is well appreciated for going extra miles to unite APC.

On insecurity, he has invested alot of resources and efforts to reducing it the lowest common multiple even though there are loopholes yet to be addressed to establish maximum security in the state and South Eastern at large.

The national presence his administration brought to Imo state is also an unwavering edge over his fellow Governorship candidates in the state. Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has promised to support Imo state in developmental upgrades.

Since the Labour Party LP and people’s Democratic party and even the Action Alliance AA Governorship candidates have not shown much seriousness and a matching zeal to continue in this Guber race slated to hold November 11,2023, Hope Uzodinma is rated higher by our statistics so far at the time of this report by 9News Nigeria Team led by Amb Princely Onyenwe.

In furtherance, Uzodinma’s administration is synonymous with the 3R mantra which is recovery, reconciliation and reconstruction. This Shared Prosperity policies are seen manifest in the state.

The shock is that these numerous services was rendered within a short time Uzodinma’s administration came to Power.

Notwithstanding, the little flaws in the administration are captured in his policy vision board pending its implementation and service delivery.

Negatively, some roads are still too bad to ply on in Imo state. Electricity supply is too poor. House rent is costly coupled with the recent economic crunch. The rate of insecurity is reduced to a minimum level but have to be sustained.

Health care facilities are yet to be massively improved upon across LGAs though Uzodinma’s administration have tried to renovate few health centers across some wards . Environmental sanitation, Illegal motor parks and street trading are no go areas, since efforts put in place are not well funded and fully sustained.

Traffic Officers are no longer seen on duty posts while hoodlums have resurfaced in virtually all the streets and rural areas to feast for the ember season. Heaps of refuse dumbs here are there while some roads are covered with heaps of sands.

The commissioner for environment and works are to be held responsible in this regards. Gutters are covered by erosion and nothing is being done to it. These gray points have to be looked into as a matter of urgency and importance.

However, other gubernatorial candidates are not suppose to lose fate until the last curtain is drawn and the game proper commences. The Uzodinma’s trend is a testament of his continuation bid as we report.

But at the moment, opinion polls are speaking “Hope, Hope. We want him back, We need him to go second term to complete his good works and introduce the zonal Governorship rotation as encapsulated in the “Charter of Equity”

The Governor has promised to make the state better with developmental upgrades since his good works have succeeded the disorganized Imo state he met at his entrance as Imo Governor.

Note that the upcoming Governorship Election is scheduled by INEC to hold in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo State simultaneously on November 11,2023.

Few weeks to the polls, the game of politics is becoming so interesting as we promise to bring to our readers trending stories from the governorship election fields and across the world.
