The Lagos Coroner Court sitting at Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu has noted that a toxicology test is being conducted on the body of the late musician,Mohbad, in the United States of America.
The state counsel, O. Akinde, made this known during the ongoing inquest on Wednesday.
Toxicology is the aspect of an autopsy carried out to determine the cause of his death.
“The toxicology test, which has to do with the internal body, is being done in the US.” He said.
His revelation came as a result of the insistence of the counsel to the father of the deceased, David Fadimu, that of TNKay Music Worldwide, David Nawoola, and representative of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikorodu, more on reasons for the delay of the test result.
Following this development, the Coroner, Magistrate Shotobi, had asked to know the reason behind the option of consulting a foreign toxicologist despite the presence of expert laboratories in Nigeria.
