Final year varsity student arrested for killing colleague over iPhone X in Ondo

Detectives from Ondo State Police Command have arrested Olubodun Sanni, a 21-year-old final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University (AAU), Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, for killing a 20-year-old female student of the school, Ifeoluwa Adekunle and went away with her iPhone X.

Parading the suspect at the Police headquarters in Akure on Tuesday, 13, 2024, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboyomi Oladipo, said modern technology was used to track the stolen phone to Sanni.

Açcording to the CP, the suspect confessed to killing the victim because he was attracted to her iPhone.
