Jos — Director-General of the Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A,) Initiative, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has assured Plateau State that more dividends of democracy will come to the state under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He made the statement through the organisation’s coordinator, Yakubu Dati, during a meeting with Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang in Jos.
Badaru said Tinubu was interested in strengthening relationships with stakeholders in Plateau and promoting dialogue on issues affecting the state. The initiative said it would expand its activities and engagements across Plateau as political activities increase ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dati said the group planned to engage leaders and stakeholders across political divides while advancing its objectives. He also stressed the importance of strengthening Plateau’s relationship with the ruling party at the federal level.
Governor Mutfwang welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the engagement would create more opportunities for residents. He said dialogue, mutual respect and shared interests were important to ongoing political discussions in the state.
Mutfwang added that the engagement had added another dimension to the ongoing political conversations, with emphasis on dialogue, mutual respect, and shared interests.
