Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu also known as Cubana Chief Priest has advised Nigerians against evading the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
AƧcording to him, EFCC operatives do not mistreat suspects but rather conduct investigations and prosecute offenders.
He emphasised that regardless of where individuals hide, EFCC will ultimately apprehend those who attempt to evade invitations or resist arrest.
Cubana Chief Priest commended the hospitality of the EFCC, highlighting that suspects are provided with three meals a day while in custody.
On his Instagram page, he wrote:
“The Eagle will always fly so high to catch you wherever you hide.
“No need to run when @officialefcc invite you, just pull up and answer them, they don’t bite, they don’t beat, they only investigate and prosecute. For their cell, toilet & bathroom dey, even break fast, lunch & dinner is served so tell me why are you running”
Recall that Cubana Chief Priest was recently arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, by the EFCC on as three-count charge related to the abuse of Naira.
However, After pleading not guilty, he was granted bail for N10 million, requiring two sureties in the like sum.
