Following the implementation of the Executive Order 003 issued by the Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the General Manager of the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB) Architect Hart Bankat on Monday, along with TaskForce team, visited the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Jos to donate seized items from individuals who were found in violation of the ban on street trading in the State.
During the visit Bankat urged the importance of adhering to government directives to ensure that businesses operate in orderly and convenient manner.
9News Nigeria correspondent reports that the seized items includes clothing, shoes, food items etc.
The General Manager was accompanied by other government officials, including Musa Ashoms Commissioner of Information, Jim Wayas Chairman Plateau State Revenue Board, Samuel Dapiya General Manager of PEPSA, Samuel Gwott General Manager of Plateau Express Services, and others.
The group is also expected to give some of this seized items to Internally Displaced Persons in Barkin Ladi Local Government Council of the State.
