While the Euro 2024 has given fans memorable moments, there’s been an attraction off the pitch as the campaign continues, German footballer, Florian Wirtz’s girlfriend, Aaliyah Mohamed.
Aaliyah stole the show at the Germany vs. Scotland match, which the German team won with Wirtz on the scoresheet.
Many have argued that Wirtz scored a goal because his sweetheart was present.
The match against Scotland was watched by 22.5 million people on German streaming service, ZDF as her face was views across stations.
According to reports, Wirtz and Aaliyah have been in a relationship since 2022 and she has been spotted in the stands several times cheering Wirtz on at his football club, Bayer Leverkusen.
There have been speculations that as long as she’s present to support her boyfriend, the German team might be motivated by his confidence which could lead to Germany lifting the trophy.
