The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has sounds a warning to Nigerians against paying for electricity distribution infrastructures, such as Transformers repairs, cables replacement and poles.
This statement was disclosed during a press meeting with Newsmen also shared alongside a video on X.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) emphasised that consumers should not be coerced into purchasing transformers, cables or poles as this responsibility lies squarely with the distribution companies.
The management revealed that it’s our duty as distribution company to get you a transformers, cable or poles if needed even to fixed bad transformers, replacing of bad cables and poles.
