The Edo State Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party, Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata, has debunked the circulating news in the media that he has withdrawn from the Governorship Election scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 21st, 2024.
Akpata stated clearly that he can never withdraw or back down from the election because he strongly believes that he will emerge as the next Governor of Edo State.
“The news circulating in the media about me withdrawing from the Governorship Election is fake, and it’s the handiwork of those who do not want the good of the Edo people. I can’t withdraw from the Governorship Election, and I will not back down. I am very sure of gaining victory at the end of the poll,” he said.
