The Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo has officially commissioned two blocks of 12 flats of two-bedroom Nigeria Air Force prototype residential buildings at the Nigeria Air Force Base, Port Harcourt.
The event which was held Today, marks a significant step in enhancing the living standards of personnel stationed at the base, as the commissioned facilities are designed to provide modern, comfortable housing in line with the Nigeria Air Force’s commitment to improving the welfare of its officers and their families.
Speaking during the commissioning, Amb. Ihunwo praised the efforts of the Nigeria Air Force leadership in prioritizing the welfare of its personnel and acknowledged the collaboration between the Air Force and the local government.
He further reiterated his administration’s dedication to supporting initiatives that foster development and improve the quality of life for residents within Obio/Akpor LGA.
The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, local government officials, and other dignitaries, who commended the project as a reflection of progressive governance and effective resource management.
