Idris made the appeal on Wednesday at press conference organised by Federal Information Centre in Sokoto.

Representer by Center Head, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abubakar, Idris said states  have benefited from the laudable projects of President Tinubu, aimed at uplifting peoples lives.

The minister said that bags of rice were sold at subsidised rates to low income earners and civil servants while mass housing, ecological and health services had been provided to citizens.

He said the construction of Sokoto-Gusau, Funtua-Zaria road was a great succour to the citizens.

Idris said that besides this, the construction of Sokoto-Badagry High Way that transverse across many states down to the South, has boosted economic activities.

The minister said that dams and irrigation schemes undertaken by the Tinubu government were also coming along, and would provide opportunities for power generation and agriculture, thereby creating  jobs for our people.

“There is also student loan scheme, consumer credit corporation and Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and many more,” he said.

Idris said that the implementation of local government autonomy facilitated by Tinubu and the establishment of Ministries of Regional Development and Live Stocks Development were deliberate efforts to provide development across the country.

Commenting on security challenges being perpetrated by some unpatriotic people, the minister said that the administration had ensured support to all security agencies stressing that Nigeria’s media must acknowledged operations of our gallant military officers and men.

He reassured of implementation of more beneficial policies, programmes and provision of  infrastructure, stressing that Renewed Hope Agenda was a key to achieving milestones on transformation of citizens lives for better.
