The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, has declared that the party is fully prepared and strategically positioned to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2027 governorship election, in Plateau.
Nentawe who disclosed this while receiving decampees from other political to the APC in Jos on Saturday, said the APC now has the strength and capacity to unseat the PDP at all levels in the next general elections.
Professor Yilwatda stated that the APC has regained strength across the state and is rebuilding its structures to ensure decisive victory.
He added that the people of Plateau are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the PDP-led administration’s and are yearning for what he described as credible leadership anchored on accountability, unity, and development.
According to the APC Chairman, the party is undergoing massive reorganization from the Wards to the State level, positioning itself as the most viable alternative for Plateau citizens ahead of 2027.
He expressed confidence that with continued mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and the renewed energy within the APC, the party will reclaim the state and form the next government.
