APC YSA honors TAG Convener, Dr. Mustapha!

Again, it was glitz and glamour at the memorial Yar’Adua Event Centre, Cadastral Zone, Abuja on Saturday, July 15 when the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youths Forum hosted its maiden Stakeholders Award Nite where it honoured the Convener of the foremost Asiwaju group, The Asiwaju Group (TAG), Dr. Mustapha Abdullåhi. The Kogi-born politician was honoured by the APC Youths Forum as one of those who worked relentless and tirelessly for the emergence of Asiwaju (now President) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. It will be recalled that Dr. Mustapha Abdullåhi (DMA) was one of the vociferous personalities that rooted for an Asiwaju presidency, prior to the Party’s presidential primaries. Not only did he spent his personal resources to mobilise en masse for President Tinubu, he also ensure that his group, TAG was seen in virtually all nooks and crannies of the country canvassing for a Tinubu Presidency.

It therefore did not come as a surprise that those efforts were notably seen and the award comes as a significant milestone, a challenge to even go the extra miles to project the successes of the Tinubu/Shettima administration as it maps out its many strategies to deliver on its Renewed Hope mandate. The award comes as a clarion call to do more than ever in projecting the image and activities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and his vice, Senator Kashim Shettima Mustapha, GCON.

Dr. Mustapha Abdullåhi (MDA) who was unavoidably absent at the event was represented by the National Co-Coordinator of the Group, Alh. Abdulrazak Danjuma. The Convener in his ‘Thank You’ message thanked, very profusely the organisers of the Award Nite for recognising the efforts of various personalities, groups and organisations and by extension himself for their contributions towards the outlandish success at the polls. His words, “We did not make mistake when we threw our weight behind the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We knew his capacity and capability to re-work Nigeria. We knew he was the best to succeed President Muhammad Buhari among the then contenders. We have known him as a man with the Midas touch, an accomplished progressive, a builder (of men and women) and a true democrat who is also patriotic and passionate a working Nigeria. Hence, we gave it our all.”

He posited further, “I will like to appreciate my immediate family whom on several occasions I had to stay out at night while canvassing for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The efforts of all members of my group who made our tasks lots much merrier by responding to our calls at every beck and call. We say to them, ‘you are the real MVP’, for without you, there cannot be TAG. I therefore use this occasion to charge you to exert more efforts in promoting the activities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR as he tackles our myriads of challenges in the months ahead. The job has just started.”
