Phillip Ejiogu to as a matter of urgency present the best graduating student of Owerri Girl’s Secondary School, Owerri Imo state Nigeria, Miss Nnodim Purity Chisom to the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma for appreciation, recommendation and possible offer of scholarship to further her Educational career in the University.
This call was made at a presentation of gifts to Miss Nnodim Purity Chisom by her school few weeks ago in Owerri.
9News Nigeria (Owerri) reports that the best graduating student of Owerri Girl’s Secondary School, Purity Nnodim hails from Emeohe Emii in Owerri North local government area of Imo state.
Speaking with our correspodent in (Owerri), her eldest sister and guardian, Mrs Peace Diala, a wife of an Anglican Church cleric hinted that her sister made the best result in her school and deserves to be given a scholarship because her brain is hot to do same if granted a deserving opportunity to study in the University.
She told 9News Nigeria that her younger sister is the last born of the family and has applied for JAMB to study Nursing in the prestigious Imo State University IMSU Owerri.
The family together with her alma mater are calling on Imo state government through the Education friendly GOVERNOR, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma to assist the young girl to further her Education.
However other spirited Individuals and corporate organizations can as a matter of goodwill key into this humble plea by the Nnodim’s family.
Recently, an old girl of Owerri Girl’s Secondary School, 95Set, Barr Ngozi made a cash presentation to her to support and appreciate her feat and to charge her younger colleagues to take their studies seriously to make best results in the subsequent exams.
According to her, “Such will hoist the school flag higher above others”
