Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, a Nigerian crossdresser, was reportedly arrested at the international airport in Lagos while attempting to fly to London, United Kingdom.

Just a few weeks ago, Bobrisky was also detained at a road border between Nigeria and the Seme border by immigration officials while trying to leave the country.

It was reported that he was granted bail and instructed to prepare for a hearing before the House of Representatives due to an invitation to appear before the panel, but he did not show up.

Recent information indicates that Bobrisky was arrested last night at the Lagos International Airport by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) while trying to escape to London.

According to a source, the arrest occurred shortly after Bobrisky and Isaac Fayose took a photograph together, which was shared online. Within a few hours, EFCC operatives arrived at the airport, leading to Bobrisky’s arrest.

Bobrisky is currently in detention in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
