Following the lingering crises surrounding Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ,Imo state chapter, a caretaker committee has been set up to resolve its crises.
This development came few hours ago after due screening was conducted on its members.
Ably led by a renowned journalist, Steve Uzoechi of New Telegraph Newspaper was charged to restore the flesh and blood in the practice of journalism in the state chapter and speed up necessary actions to conduct its election as the time permits.
Recall that its internal crises has over stayed and metamorphosed into unhealthy factions causing sharp divide among fellow journalists.
Imo people are in high expectations of this committee to do a good work to make sure that the ethics of journalism practice is maintained.
