Gunmen have murd€red Ifesinachi Onyekere, the popular Anambra entrepreneur known as “Fish Magnet” and owner of Fish Magnet Barbecue.
The assailants attacked his Awka residence late Tuesday, fatally shooting him before abducting his body.
According to eyewitness accounts, the perpetrators later contacted Onyekere’s mother, directing her to retrieve her son’s body at a nearby location. The victim was her only child.
Onyekere’s wife, Esther Chinyere Onyekesi (popularly called Adaejiejemba), currently serves as the Anambra State Woman Leader for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). The couple’s prominence has amplified community shock over the killing.
Police authorities are yet to confirmed the incident. No motive has been established, and no arrests have been made.
