Leading APC House of Representatives Aspirant, Chief Buchi Oparaugo is recieving more acceptability in Owerri Federal Constituency amongst other aspirants by the on-ground assessment in the area.
Because of the pendency of the suit in the Supreme Court between Nwafor & IMO APC being under adjudication at d Supreme Court, the National headquarters of the leading APC has cancelled participation of all levels of Excos in Imo state in the forthcoming primaries. Only 5-man delegates will vote in all elections unless otherwise stated.
Meanwhile, information made available to 9News Nigeria reveales that there are developments in the approval of the authentic delegates lists for the primary elections slayed to commence tomorrow Sunday 22-05-2022 across the states.
However, from the breakdown, 9News Nigeria reports that APC 2,322 Delegates will emerge without Statutory Delegates If President Buhari Doesn’t Sign The Amended Electoral Act as speculated.
Recal that PDP was earlier Scheduled to commence their Primary Election on Sunday 22-05-2022 while the leading APC takes its turn midweek pending latest developments which may occur during the Scheduled time for party primaries.
In anyway it goes, Owerri Federal Constituency seems intact as all eyes are focused on Buchi Oparaugo victory.
