The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a nationwide reduction in petrol pump prices by ₦15 per litre.
According to the management of the refinery, the new prices will now range between ₦875 and ₦905 per litre, depending on the location.
The reduction takes immediate effect and is expected to bring some relief to Nigerians grappling with the high cost of transportation and living.
This latest adjustment marks the second time in recent months that Dangote Refinery has reviewed its petrol prices downward.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery, commissioned in 2023, is Africa’s largest refinery and one of the most strategic players in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector, with the capacity to refine 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
