Delta State: Oghara Monarch bans idol worshiping in community, curses kidnappers

Determined to rid his community of all forms of fetish vices including kidnapping and armed robbery, the traditional ruler of Oghara kingdom, HRM Noble Oyibo Eshenutan Orefe III, on Thursday rededicated the kingdom into the hands of God and banned idol worshiping and sacrifices with blood.
Against the background of incessant kidnappings and robbery cases, the Monarch placed curses on its perpetrators, warning that those involved in such socio-vices capable of causing serious damage in the kingdom, should desist or face the wrath of God.
Noting that God has the powers to do everything, the Monarch said that rededicating the Oghara kingdom to God remain the greatest achievement, adding that the reign of God in the kingdom would bring about peace and tranquility.
His words: “I pray for all those with challenges in this kingdom, and with God, Oghara kingdom will witness tremendous peace; I pray for our son, Chief James Ibori and others who are facing serious challenges.”
Last weekend, the traditional ruler and Oghara Christian Association (OCA) organized a prayer session in the kingdom where they set on fire all evil acts.
