A prominent leader in Nekede Owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria, High Chief Kennedy Zanders has vowed before his Kingsmen to disown him if the second tenure of Governor Hope Uzodinma did not favour Nde Nekede.
Zanders added that the re-election bid of Governor Hope Uzodinma will affect positively to the people of the area.
He also told his people that the challenges bedevilling Nekede which included bad roads, land dispute, worrisome situation of Nmiri Nkwoahia popular bridge at number 12 bus stop, non-employment of Nekede sons and daughters at various government agencies and to grant the people of the area Juicy government appointments.
The leader stated that more rapid developments will come to Nekede by voting Governor Uzodinma in the Saturday November 11 Governorship Election.
He further reminded Nde Nekede of their high number of voting strength which can be utilized properly as an advantage over other wards in Owerri West and Imo state at large.
Recall that High Chief Kennedy Zanders is the chief executive officer CEO and owner of Zanders foundation, Zander FM and TV stations in Imo state.
He hails from Nekede Ancient kingdom which is a sister autonomous community to Umudibia and Umuoma.
In politics, Zanders have ascended the height of an illustrious political appiontee of Government, in the then, Former Governor Ikedi Ohakim’s administration.
As an ardent supporter of Hope Uzodinma, Zanders assured that the fifty four (54) polling booths in the area will work very hard to deliver the All Progressives Congress APC party candidate, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma at the upcoming Saturday Guber Election.
While passing an assuring vote of thanks to all the participants at the All-Nekede Political stakeholders gathering held on wednesday afternoon at the village residence of ELDER ANTHONY AJOKU TACCO Group, Zanders told every voter in Nekede to sensitize their environment of the importance of casting massive votes for Hope Uzodinma’s re-election bid on Saturday.
Leaders, women groups, Youths, APC party Executive, Elders in council, town Chairmen alongside defected members from other political parties across party lines showed their presence and assured Governor Hope Uzodinma of massive winning from Nekede ward in Owerri West Imo including that of Barracks Community and student groups.
