EFCC arrests 35 suspects for alleged cybercrimes in Plateau

The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 35 individuals in Plateau State for alleged involvement in cybercrimes.

The group consists of 32 males and three females. The arrests took place along Bauchi Road Bye Pass in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, following credible intelligence on their illicit activities.

During the operation, the anti-graft agency recovered 47 phones, five laptops, two MacBooks, one black Peugeot 406 saloon car with registration number JJN 140 BX, one black Mercedes-Benz car with registration number BSA 331 AG, and one blue 2007 Toyota Camry without a plate number.

The suspects are set to be charged to court once the investigations are finalized.
