The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma has commissioned a High Court in Owerri North Local Government Area.

This is in keeping with the commitment of the Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodinma to increase the access of Imo people to justice.
This is sending Justice nearer to the people which is one of the campaign promises of the Governor.

The Chief Judge of Imo State, Hon Theresa C. Chikeka, commended the Governor for building the first high court in Owerri Local Government through the sole Administrator, Barr. Tony Umezurike.

In his address, Governor Hope Uzodimma thanked God for the opportunity to change the sad story in Imo State to the point of bringing justice nearer to the people.

The Governor challenged other Local Government Administrators to emulate his transparent and prudent disposition in the management of public funds and resources entrusted to them just as the Sole Administrator Owerri North has done.
