Former Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Professor Yakubu Sankey has been killed.
Sankey was killed in the early hours of Thursday May 25 at Kamuru in Southern Kaduna.
According to reports, he was killed by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers while trying to abduct him.
Reacting on Friday in a tweet, Senator Shehu Sani described the incident as sad, unfortunate and tragic.
The chairman of Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Francis Sani has also confirmed the unfortunate and tragic incident.
