Nigerian music star, David Adeleke also known as Davido has opened up about his personal life during a recent appearance on Breakfast Club Podcast, stating his firm decision to embrace monogamy.
The award winning artist, who has five children with four different women, shared that he’s now focused on maintaining peace in his relationships.
Drawing what he has seen within his own family, Davido mentioned that despite their wealth, some of his uncle’s with multiple wives still face ongoing relationship issues.
“I’m done with cheating”, he said.
“I just want peace of mind — no more drama. I’ve seen how messy things can get. May be It’s because I’ve had my fair share of tough experiences. Experience really is the best teacher”.
This statement echoes Davido’s earlier remarks about his devotion to his longtime partner, Chioma.
In a previously circulated chip on social media, he declared, “I’m not the cheating type. I give my baby assurance”, he said.
When asked during the Podcast If he would consider marrying a second wife — something that wouldn’t technically count as infidelity — he firmly responded, “No”.
