Davido’s manager, Asa Asika has refuted an arguable report that implied that the singer Davido is member of a secret cult.
One Tobi Adegoke, a 25-year-man suspected member of the Black axe cult, stated he was lured into a member of the group with guarantees that becoming a member of the cultist group would grant him the rare opportunity of meeting Davido.
The story which went viral last week, stocks how Tobi Adegoke fell for the reasonably priced trick due to the fact he believed assembly Davido could help him in his music profession.
Tobi is a budding musician who is presently in police custody after being arrested and paraded alongside 26-different suspected cultists by the Lagos State Police Command last week Wednesday.
He had advised the police:
“i am an Aiye member (Black axe). I have been within the cult for about two years. I was told that Davido a member and if I joined, I can be capable of meet him.
It was into the fellow who initiated me that stated so. He said he worked for Davido and that it is going to be smooth entry for me. But on account that I joined, i have not met Davido.
They told me I’ll become a very popular musician but see wherein i am now”, he reported to have stated that in tears.
In a talk with Showtime, Asa Asika denied any knowledge of Davido being a member of any secret cult group.
“I don’t have any idea of what you’r talking about my brother”, he said.
Every other member of Davido’s DMW group and also Perruzi’s manager, Abiola Ridwan Sanni, a.Okay.A ‘Kolotainment’, also dismissed the suspect’s allegation, describing it as ‘funny’.
