The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, has stated that if elected the president of Nigeria in 2023, he will probe past Nigerian leaders and recover every public fund stolen during their stay in the office.

The AAC candidate stated this on Saturday on his Twitter page noting that his government would also probe those who had murdered innocent Nigerians and deprived them of a bright future and make them face the wrath of the law.

He argued that if the country could be retrieving money from the dead and long buried former Head of State, Sani Abacha, nothing would stop him from retrieving stolen funds from living legendary thieves.

He said, “As President of Nigeria, I will probe and retrieve every penny stolen by past Nigerian rulers, those who’ve murdered innocents and deprived them of a bright future.

“If we could be retrieving money from dead and buried Sani Abacha, we should retrieve it from living legendary thieves.”
