I, Hon Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi, the Majority Leader of Imo State House of Assembly , on behalf of myself and my family heartily and gladly congratulate my Boss, leader and prosperity Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma CON on his historic swearing in Ceremony for a second term of Office as the Executive Governor of Imo which comes up 15th January, 2024.
I also commend the foresight and gender sensitivity of the Executive Governor which informed the wisdom of his choice for a mother, renowned women and Community Development Expert, Lady Ihuoma Chinyere Ekomaru as the Deputy Governor of the State. I sincerely congratulate her on her inauguration Ceremony as the brand new Deputy Governor of Imo State.
Your Excellency, it is something of great joy that God Almighty has blessed us with a God fearing, benevolent, foresighted, intuitive, wise, people oriented and development driven leader like you, who has taken it seriously and committedly to change the narratives and redirect the State on the path of sustainable socioeconomic and infrastructural transformation.
You have carved a nitch for yourself by surmounting all obstacles and landmines deliberately put in place to restrict and obstruct your scope of performance or achievements.
The most amazing thing about you that would remain indelible and evergreen in the annals of our political history is your doggedness and refusal to be distracted or weighed down by those who never wished the state well nor wished you well in the discharge of your onerous duty as a Governor .
Your Excellency, you talk less but prefer to speak eloquently through your works and good deeds that have positive impacts on humanity. The action and massive development loaded administration you unleashed on Imo State in the last four years have given a true picture of who you are and the opinion of the naysayers can no longer withstand the wave that comes with your popularity and the acceptance of your government which made possible your unprecedented and landslide victory in the 11th November, 2023 gubernatorial election where the twenty seven local Government Areas of the State voted almost hundred percent and collapsed for your emergence.
Imo people indeed spoke with one voice and in reciprocation returned you to office as their Governor because of the great things you did for them in the last four years.
As you receive another divine blessing today through your inauguration and swearing Ceremony for a second term of Office as the Executive Governor of Imo State, I pray God Almighty to grant you good health, wisdom, foresight, courage and strength to continue with the good work already started by you.
I trust and strongly believe that you will do more, add value once again and even out perform the previous outstanding achievements of last four years. May God show you mercy and bless you continually without ceasing as you navigate the affairs of the state to greater heights.
