The Imo State House of Assembly IMHA has on Wednesday 2-07-2024 passed a vote of- confidence to the Leadership of the House under Speaker Chike Olemgbe.
The vote came at the commencement of wednesday plenary session of the House by the Honourable members of Imo House of Assembly IMHA Owerri led by CHIKE OLEMGBE as 9News Nigeria reports.
It began with a call to a certain order and procedure of the IMHA , that the house was granted audience to enumerate their wonderful performances within the first hot year of legislation as 9News reports.
Investigation conducted by 9News Owerri reveals that It was on the 16-06-2024, the 10th House 3rd Assembly clocked one (1yr) year in office and from the beginning days of their legislation till date and time of filling this report, IMHA has expressed maturity without rancour and very solidly behind the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodinma in all sincerity.
Members reiterated the fact that , the vote of implicit confidence on IMHA is apt to correspond with their excellent performance, rancour free house and attention to sensitive matters that border the wellbeing of the state.
The House also admitted to the fact that the one year of legislation was very excellent, respectful and brought togetherness among partners of both the Executive and Judicial arms in the state.
It is evidential to note also that several motions and counter motions displayed within the first year, brought out the best in the performances of honorable members.
On the foregoing therefore, the House applauded the IMHA legislative officers the Assembly Clerk and her lieutenants for adding to the smooth runnings and success story of the 10th House as 9News Nigeria reports.
In helping the government, IMHA members noted that leadership is not a lazy work but has sustained and stabilized a smooth bureaucracy while helping the executive to produce quality and stable government in Imo state Nigeria.
While given Imolites the best super legislation, the House agreed in its totality of avoiding any step to topple the Government or getting involved in any rascality against the leadership of the House IMHA.
It may interest our readers to note that It is the same leadership led by Rt Hon CHIKE OLEMGBE that made it possible for IMHA members to participate in the recent 3Day capacity building that was anchored by the NILDS Abuja Nigeria.
The above points of success recorded in IMHA have brought about the confidence vote on the leadership of IMHA under the Speakership of Chike Olemgbe whose sense of articulation is apt and timely, pragmatic relationship, non- discriminatory attitude and good leadership.
