Information revealed that this very chamber has been in dilapidated condition until Hope Uzodinma stepped into the Government House to give the chamber a new taste of living and befitting standard.

One of the governor’s aides said that the edifice is now wearing a very new look having being renovated, painted and repositioned by the present governor of Imo state, his Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma.

However, the Ndubuisi Kanu Executive Council building was built by Owelle Rochas Okorocha during his first One hundred days in office in 2011 but was sparingly used except for hosting high profile visitors in the state.

Governor Uzodinma, being a man of quality taste and good idealogy swung into action to put the chamber in good order as a world-class edifice situated in Imo state government house Owerri.
